Bio: Christian is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In 2017, she was awarded the Cal Key Wilson Leadership Award from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine.
Prior to becoming a medical professional, she was a nonprofit administrator and grassroots organizer. Christian has partnered with institutions, small businesses, nonprofit, and for profit organizations internationally and throughout the U.S. to provide popular education based workshops and retreats. Past partners include the Chicago Freedom School, Project Nia, DePaul University, Northwestern University, the Mispon Indigenous Film Festival, and the Lima Public Library.
